June 20, 1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community
Development Director has the- authority to approve, Inspection Requests
approve with conditions or deny Certification of (714)573-3141
Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City Graffiti Hot Line
building permit for property located within a Cultural (714) 573-3111
Resource District. Y

The following findings are required before a Certificate (714)573-3113
of Appropriateness is issued:
a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code
and design standards which may be established from
time to time by the Cultural Resources Committee.
b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the
character of the District or Designated Cultural
Resources within the District.
C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing
surroundings. The extent of harmony shall be
evaluated in terms of appropriateness of materials,
scale, size, height, placement and use of a new
building or structure in relationship to existing
buildings and structures and the surrounding
setting.

The Community Development Department and the Community
Redevelopment Agency has reviewed the proposal to remodel the
exterior of the existing commercial building located at 425 El
Camino Real (Design Review 94-017) and has determined that the
proposed work is in conformance with the above requirements. The
proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the conditions
contained in the Zone Administrator Action 94-003.
