CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS

DESIGN REVIEW 97-007 (J.R.HAXTON)
MARCH 5, 1997
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001, which was adopted June 20,
1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community Development Director
has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny a
Certificate of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City
building permit for property located within a
District. Cultural Resource
The following findings are required before a Certificate of
Appropriateness is issued:
1• The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and design
standards which may be established, from time to time by the
Cultural Resources Committee;
2• The proposed work does .not adversely affect the character of
the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the
District; and
3• The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings.
The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in terms of
appropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement
and use of a new building or structure in relationship to
existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting.
It has been determined that the project is in conformance with the
above requirements. The Community Development Director has
reviewed the proposed plan and approves, a Certificate of
Appropriateness for the residence, subject to the conditions
contained in Design Review 97-007, incorporated herein by
reference.
