PATIO IMPROVEMENTS
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20,
1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community Development Director
has the authority to approve, conditionally approve or deny
Certification of Appropriateness for improvements within a Cultural
Resource District.that require a City building .permit.
The following findings are required:
a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and
design standards which may be established from time to
time by the Cultural Resources Committee.
b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character
of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within
the District.
C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing
surroundings. 'The extent of harmony shall be evaluated
in terms of appropriateness of materials, scale, site,
height, placement and use of a new building or structure
in relationship to existing buildings and structures and
the surrounding setting.
The Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed
plans for patio area fencing in conjunction with a restaurant use
and has determined that the proposal is in conformance with the
above requirements. The proposed design, materials and colors are
compatible in appearance with the exterior elevations of the
existing structure and is appropriate for the subject building.
The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Prior to the start of any construction, the applicant
shall obtain a building permit and pay all applicable
pla eck and permit fees.
