In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988 by
the Tustin_ City Council, the Community Development Director rias the
authority to approve, approve with conditions or deny Certificates of
Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for
property located. within a Cultura.-i Resource District.
The roof was altered without issuance of building permits and the owner
is seeking approval of completed work involving the removal of the
existing grey composition shingle roofing and replacement with grey
composition shingle roofing on a "C" rated structure per the Tustin
Historical Resources Survey.
The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows:
A. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal. Code and TCC Section
8103 (m) in that the proposed roof is a, mi niin.-un, Class B roof
covering assembly.
B. The proposed work ,does not adversely affect the character (-)f the
District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District in
that the proposed roofing material matches the roofing material
that was documented in the Tustin Historical Resources Survey:
C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings in that
the new roofing material matches the existing roofing material
that was documented in the Tustin Historical Resources Survey.
The project is hereby approved, subject"to the following conditions:
