CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS
675 WEST THIRD STREET
CONSTRUCTION OF A TAN STUCCO MASONRY WALL
ON A NON -RATED PROPERTY
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988, by the Tustin City Council, the
Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny Certificates
of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property located within a Cultural
Resource District. The proposed project includes the installation of a six foot eight inch (6'8") beige colored
stucco block wall located behind the front yard setback along the east, west and north boundary lines of
the property. The structure is not rated in the Tustin Historical Resource Survey.
The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows:
A. In accordance with TCC Section 8101 (301.2.1) the six foot eight inch high block wall requires a
building permit.
B. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural
Resources within the District in that the proposed tan stucco block wall is appropriate with the style and
architecture of the house.
The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:
Prior to the start of any work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit, and pay all applicable permit
fees.
2. The block wall shall be similarly finished with a decorative cap stone.
