302 SOUTH "B" STREET
REPLACEMENT OF THE FENCE AND GATE OF A "C RATED" RESIDENTIAL COLONIAL
REVIVAL STRUCTURE
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988, by the Tustin City
Council, the Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions,
or deny Certificates of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property
located within a Cultural Resource District. The proposed project includes the removal of an
existing wooden fence and wooden gate to be replaced with a new six (6) feet eight (8) inch
high wooden fence and wooden gate of similar height, color and material. The residential
structure is a "C -rated" Colonial Revival structure per the Tustin Historical Resources Survey.
The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows.-

A. In accordance with TCC Section 8101 (301.2.1) the proposed wooden fence and gate require
a building permit.
B. The proposed work does not adverselv affect the character of the District or Desianated
Cultural Resources within the District in that the proposed wooden fence and gate are
replacing an existing wooden fence and gate of similar color and style. The proposed work is
harmonious with existing surroundings in that the proposed wooden fence and gate will match
the color and style of the house.
The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:
Prior to the start of any work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit and pay all applicable
plan check and permit fees.
