CONSTRUCTION OF A 50' LONG, 6' HIGH BLOCK WALL
ON A NON -RATER PROPERTY
In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988, by the Tustin City Council, the
Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny Certificates
of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property located within a Cultural
Resource District. The proposed project includes the installation of a fifty foot (50') long, six foot (6') high
block wall located along the southerly property line of the property. The structure is not rated in the
Tustin Historical Resource Survey.
The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows:
A. In accordance with TCC Section 8101 (301.2. 1) the six foot high block wall requires a building permit.
B. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural
Resources within the District in that the newly pioposed segment of block wall will match the existing
segment of block wall along the southerly property line and is appropriate with the style and architecture
of the house.
The proposed work is -hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:
1. Prior to the start of any work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit, and pay all applicable permit
fees.
2. The block wall shall be constructed as shown on the approved plans.
