A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
3 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN REPLACEMENTS IN
4 NEWPORT AVENUE, PROSPECT AVENUE AND 17TH STREET (CITY
5 PROJECT NOS. 600087, 600141 AND 600142), AND AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

7 WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council- of the City of Tustin, Califomia to
8 contract construction of water main replacements in Newport Avenue, Prospect Avenue and
17m Street; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and specifications for the
10 construction of said work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications presented
12 by the City Engineer be and are hereby approved as the plans and specifications for:
13 Construction of Water Main Replacements in Newport Avenue, Prospect
14 Avenue and 17th Street, City Project Nos. 600087, 600141 and 600142;
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the
16 work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is categorically exempt from the
18 requirement of California Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities.
19 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
20 Tustin, held on the 21st day of June 1999.
