VESTING TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 16695 (VESTAR DEVELOPMENT)
SUMMARY
On July 12, 2004, the Planning Commission was scheduled to consider a 1,006,100
square foot commercial development known as "The District at Tustin Legacy" to be
located at the northwest corner of Barranca Parkway and Jamboree Road. However,
the applicant requested a continuance and the Planning Commission continued the item
to July 26, 2004. (Attachment A). Staff recommends that the public hearing on Vesting
Tentative Tract Map 16695 before the City Council be continued to August 2,2004.

Property Owner: City of Tustin/Department of the Navy
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council continue the public hearing on Vesting Tentative Tract Map 16695
to the regularly scheduled meeting on August 2, 2004.
FISCAL IMPACT
The applicant has paid fees for the processing of all entitlement applications, including
Vesting Tentative Tract Map 16695.
DISCUSSION
The applicant is proposing to develop a 1,006,100 square foot commercial development
known as "The District at Tustin Legacy" to be located on approximately 111.77 gross
acres within Planning Areas 16, 17, and 19 of the MCAS Tustin Specific Plan, located at
the northwest corner of Barranca Parkway and Jamboree Road.
The Planning Commission was scheduled to consider the project on July 12, 2004;
however, the applicant requested that the public hearing be continued to provide additional
time to review the recommended conditions of approval (Attachment A). The Planning
Commission opened and continued the public hearing to July 26, 2004. Staff
recommends that public hearing on Vesting Tentative Tract Map 16695 before the City
