CONSENT CALENDAR: None. PUBLIC HEARING: 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT(CUP)2017-03 & DESIGN REVIEW 2017-003 APPLICANT: City of Tustin Public Works Department/Field Services Division 1471 Service Road Tustin, CA 92780 PROPERTY OWNER: City of Tustin 300 Centennial Way Tustin, CA 92780 LOCATION: 1472 Service Road REQUEST: Authorization to demolish two (2) City service yard buildings, the existing former fire station and one (1) canopy and the construction of a new 2-story, 17,284 square foot service yard building and Emergency Operations Center (EOC). ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: This project has been determined to be Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1), 15302 (Class 2), 15303 (Class 3) and 15332 (Class 32) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action No. 17-009 approving Conditional Use Permit 2017-03 and Design Review 2017-003. It was noted there were no members of the public in attendance for this item. The Zoning Administrator opened the Public Hearing item at 10:03 a.m. She stated she had reviewed the staff report and did not need a presentation. Zoning Administrator Action Agenda October 31, 2017 Page 2 The applicant, Jason Churchill, was in attendance, along with representatives from LPA. The Acting Zoning Administrator asked Mr. Churchill if he had an opportunity to review the Conditions of Approval, which he had and there were no concerns. The Zoning Administrator approved ZAA 17-009. The Public Hearing item was closed at 10:10 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: 10:10 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
