Binsack, Zoning Administrator PUBLIC CONCERNS: None. CONSENT CALENDAR: None. PUBLIC HEARING: Opened Public Hearing Item at 10:00 a.m. 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) 2017-21 APPLICANT: Sandra Orozco Touch N Go Soccer Academy 1652 Edinger Avenue, Suite E Tustin, CA 92780 PROPERTY OWNER: Borchard RedHill CA 4-14 Fund, LLC c/o Depasquale Kelley & Company 19200 Von Karman Avenue #100 Irvine, CA 92612 LOCATION: 1652 Edinger Avenue, Suite E REQUEST: To establish and operate an indoor soccer training facility within an existing 2,000 square foot tenant space. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: This project is Categorically Exempt (Class 1) pursuant to Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act. RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 17-011 approving CUP 2017-21 to establish an indoor soccer training facility in an existing tenant suite located at 1652 Edinger Avenue, Suite E. It was noted there were no members of the public in attendance for this item. The Zoning Administrator opened the Public Hearing item at 10:00 a.m. She stated she had reviewed the staff report and did not need a presentation. The applicant, Sandra Orozco, and Christian Ramirez were present. Zoning Administrator Action Minutes December 13, 2017 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator asked the applicants if they had the opportunity to review Exhibit A and D of ZAA No. 17-011. Both Ms. Orozco and Mr. Ramirez did review the ZAA and they did not have any questions or concerns. The Zoning Administrator approved ZAA 17-011. The Public Hearing item was closed at 10:03 a.m. 2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2017-18 APPLICANT: Dr. Hayek and Dr. Negvesky Tustin Legacy Animal Hospital 31 Gullwing Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 PROPERTY OWNER: John Mehigan Regency Centers 915 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 2200 Los Angeles, CA 90017 LOCATION: 15100 Kensington Park Drive, Suite 520 REQUEST: To operate a veterinary clinic (small animals) located at 15100 Kensington Park Drive, Suite 520. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: This project is categorically exempt (Class 1) pursuant to Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act. RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) 17-012 approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2017-18 to operate a veterinary clinic in a 2,685-square-foot tenant space located at 15100 Kensington Park Drive, Suite 520 in The Village at Tustin Legacy. The Public Hearing item was opened at 10:04 a.m. It was noted there were no members of the public in attendance for this item. The applicant, Dr. Hayek and architect, Nile Saunders were present. The Zoning Administrator asked the applicant if she had an opportunity to review the Conditions of Approval, which Dr. Hayek stated she had and she had no questions or comments. The Zoning Administrator approved ZAA 17-012. The Public Hearing item was closed at 10:07 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 10:07 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
