HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 99-162 RESOLUTION NO. 99-16 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY z~ OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE 5 I COMPENSATION OF CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES 6 7 WHEREAS, the City now. desires to provide increases in compensation to its Confidential employees as a result of a conference with respective Department 8 Heads, and subsequent to recommendations of the City Manager. 9 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does 3.0 hereby resolve as follows: 1] Section 1. Salary Increase: Effective January 1, 1999, each employee in the Confidential Unit will receive a 2% salary increase and a 2% salary increase 12 effective July 1,2000. The Confidential Unit consists of the following 1_ 3classifications: l_z~Personnel Analyst Executive Coordinator 1_5 Office Coordinator Human Resources Assistant 16 Office Support Specialist-City Manager's Office 1_7 Section 2. Retirement Benefit: The Confidential Unit's retirement plan with 18 the Public Employees Retirement System shall be changed to the 2% at 55 Retirement Plan effective January 1,2000. ~-9 20 Section 3. Flexible Benefits: Effective January 1, 1999, Flexible Benefits Contribution by the City for Confidential Employees shall be amended as follows: 2] Employee Only Employee plus One Employee Plus two 22 Dependent or more dependents 23 $312 $416 $520 2~ Section 4. Other Benefits: Amendments pertaining to non-management, 25 non-sworn employees made to the City Rules and Regulations, fringe benefits or other employment conditions shall also apply to Confidential Employees. 26 27 28 Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council held on the 16th day of February, 1999.
