(THE "PROJECT") (CIP NO. 7100)
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council continue this item to November 15, 2004.
BACKGROUND
The Tustin Ranch Road Extension project proposes to extend Tustin Ranch Road, a six (6)
lane Major Arterial, from its existing terminus at Walnut Avenue to the future alignment of
Valencia North Loop Road on the former Marine Corps Air Station - Tustin. The length of
the extension is approximately one mile and will provide three (3) travel lanes in each
direction. A loop road would then connect this extension with Edinger Avenue.
Certification of the Final EIS/EIR for the Disposal and Reuse of the Marine Corps Air
Station - Tustin, as revised by Supplement #1, and approval of the Project entitled
Extension of Tustin Ranch Road between Walnut Avenue and the future alignment of
Valencia North Loop Road will be presented to the City Council for consideration on
November 15,2004.
