HUIZAR, CHIEF DEPUTY CITY CLERK Agenda Item 1 SPEC Reviewed: City Manager Finance Director N/A SUBJECT: INTERVIEW AND APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION, AUDIT COMMITTEE, AND CULTURAL RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS SUMMARY: The City Council will conduct interviews and cast ballots to appoint members to the Planning Commission, Audit Committee, and Cultural Resources Advisory Committee. RECOMMENDATION: Conduct interviews and cast ballots to determine appointments for the Planning Commission, Audit Committee, and Cultural Resources Advisory Committee. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: On August 2, 2004, the City Council set the date and time of September 7, 2004, at 5:30 p.m. to conduct interviews to fill Commission/Committee vacancies. The following candidates have submitted their applications and are seeking appointment to the Planning Commission, Audit Committee, and Cultural Resources Advisory Committee: Planning Commission — one (1) vacancy for a term expiring on March 1, 2005.
