SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF THE AUGUST 21, 2018 AND SEPTEMBER 18,
2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
SUMMARY:
Due to a lack of quorum, staff recommends cancellation of the August 21, 2018 and September
18, 2018 City Council meetings.
RECOMMENDATION:
Direct the City Clerk to post a Notice of Cancellation for the regularly scheduled Council meeting
on August 21, 2018 and September 18, 2018. The City Council hereby waives notice of said
meeting as required by Government Code §54954.

BACKGROUND:
Government Code §54954 requires that each Councilmember be given notice of the date and
time of a meeting unless expressly waived.
The City Council will resume consideration of items at its regularly scheduled meeting to be
held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the Council Chamber located at 300 Centennial Way,
Tustin.
