CONSENT CALENDAR: None
PUBLIC HEARING: Opened the Public Hearing Item at 10:30 a.m.
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) 2017-22
APPLICANT: Sean and Shana Martin

REQUEST:
To establish and operate and a domestic cat boarding/daycare facility.
ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS:
This project is Categorically Exempt (Class 1) pursuant to Section 15301 of the
California Environmental Quality Act.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 18-001
approving CUP 2017-22 to operate a domestic cat boarding/daycare facility within
an existing tenant space located at 13031 Newport Avenue.
It was noted there were no members of the public in attendance for this item.
The Zoning Administrator stated she had reviewed the staff report and did not need
a presentation.
The applicants, Sean and Shana Martin were present.

The Zoning Administrator asked Mr. and Mrs. Martin if they had the opportunity to
review ZAA No. 18-001, including the Conditions of Approval. Mr. and Mrs. Martin
reviewed ZAA No. 18-001 and they did not have any questions or concerns.
The Zoning Administrator approved ZAA 18-001.
The Public Hearing Item was closed at 10:31 a.m.

ADJOURNMENT:
The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when
items are set for hearing.
