CALL TO ORDER: 7:00 p.m.

PUBLIC CONCERNS:
At this time, any member of the public may address the Planning Commission on
matters which are not on this evening's agenda, provided the matter is within the
subject matter jurisdiction of the Planning Commission.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be
enacted by one motion without discussion. Persons wishing to speak regarding
Consent Calendar matters should file a "Request to Speak"form with the Recording
Secretary.
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES —SEPTEMBER 25, 2018
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning Commission approve the Minutes of the September 25, 2018,
Planning Commission meeting as provided.
WRITTEN MATERIALS — Materials that are distributed to a majority of the Planning Commission
less than 72 hours prior to the Regular Meeting, are available for public inspection at the following
locations: in the Community Development Department during regular business hours and following
business hours (after 5:30 p.m.) in the Council Chamber on the day of the meeting.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) — In compliance with the ADA, those requiring
accommodations for this meeting should notify the Community Development Department 72 hours
prior to the meeting at (714) 573-3106.

REQUEST:
A request to construct a 9,936 square-foot two-story meeting room building, a 2,971
square-foot office building expansion, and 3,608 square feet of office and assembly area
improvements.
ENVIRONMENTAL:
This project is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15332 (Class 32) of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning Commission adopt Resolution No. 4373 approving Conditional Use
Permit (CUP) 2017-04 and Design Review (DR) 2017-004, authorizing the construction
of a new 9,936 square-foot two-story meeting room building, a 2,971 square-foot office
building expansion, and 3,608 square feet of office and assembly area tenant
improvements at St. Cecilia Church at 1301 Sycamore Avenue.
