REQUEST: ESTABLISHMENT OF A CONVENIENCE MARKET IN AN
EXISTING RETAIL SPACE LOCATED AT 13112 NEWPORT
AVENUE, UNIT A.
Recommendation - That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning
Administrator Action 97-001 approving Conditional Use Permit 96-
038 .,
Presentation: Sara Pashalides, Associate Planner
Sara Pashalides presented the report and stated that the applicant
had requested a modification in hours of business . Ms . Pashalides
stated that staff approved the hours requested.
The Administrator asked if there had been any public input
concerning this •project.
Sara Pashalides stated there had been no public comment .
Jonas Mansourian, 1762 San Juan Street, #3 , Tustin, representingthe
applicant, stated he agreed with the report and conditions and had
no questions .
The Zoning Administrator approved Conditional Use Permit 96--038 b
adopting Zoning Administrator Action 97-001 amended as follows:
Condition 2 . 1 shall read "Business hours for the proposed
convenience store will be 6 : 00 a.m. to 11 : 00 p.m. Monday through
Saturday and' 8 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.. on Sunday. Any exceptions to•
these hours shall require approval of an amendment to this
Conditional Use Permit by the Planning Commission. "
