DICK KAYE 41 Zoning Administrator Action Agenda May 19, 1997 Page 2 LOCATION: 498 'EAST FIRST STREET ZONING: FIRST STRI�ET SPECIFIC PLAN - COMMERCIAL AS PRIMARY USE ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 1) PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. REQUEST: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE ON-SITE SALE OF BEER AND WINE (ABC LICENSE TYPE 1141") 'FOR ON-SITE CONSUMPTION AT 498 EAST FIRST STREET. Recommendation - That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 97-006 approving Conditional Use Permit 97- 007 . Presentation: Gregory Gubman, Associate Planner . The Public Hearing opened at 10 :37 a.m. The Administrator asked if the applicants had any questions concerning the staff report. Amy Ravetto stated that neither she nor Luigi had any questions but were pleased with the help they have been given to move forward. They are anxious to open the restaurant as soon as possible. . The Administrator asked' if any modifications were planned for the site. Amy Ravetto stated that they planned to work with the equipment already existing on the site and had no plans for modifications to the building. Thomas P. Brennan, representing the Tustin Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the Ravetto" s to Tustin, stated that they have an established track record in Orange and that he is looking forward to their opening. Dick Kaye, Manager, Larwin Square, stated he is looking forward to having the Ravetto' s as tenants . The Administrator stated that he considered this CUP as a straight forward matter and had no problems with it .
