HUIZAR, CHIEF DEPUTY CITY CLERK INTERVIEW AND APPOINTMENT OF AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER SUBJECT: SUMMARY: The City Council will conduct interviews and cast ballot to appoint a member to the Audit Committee. RECOMMENDATION: Conduct interviews and cast ballot to determine appointment for the Audit Committee vacancy. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: On September 7, 2004 the City Council interviewed one applicant for the Audit Committee vacancy, Jena Saldaña. Council requested continuation of the matter to the 1st meeting in October to interview additional candidates. The following candidates have submitted their applications and are seeking appointment to the Audit Committee: Audit Committee - One (1) vacancy for term expiring on March 1, 2007. Of the five member committee, four (4) are required to be registered voters in the City and one (1) a registered voter within the Tustin Water Corporation area. This vacancy is to fill the un-expired term of a city resident. Applicants meet the qualifications: Name Cari Curtis Eileen C.
