BIENNIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST REVIEW - DESIGNATED
POSITIONS
SUMMARY:
Biennially, the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency is required to review its
Conflict of Interest Code and make changes as needed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt RDA Resolution No. RDA 04-08 modifying the Appendix (Designated Positions)
contained in the City's Conflict of Interest Code to delete South Central Project Area
Committee Member.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Appendix (Designated Positions) defines those employees or officials who are
required to file Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700). Biennially, the Designated
Positions should be reviewed and modified if necessary to reflect any changes that
have occurred prior to the filing of annual Statements of Economic Interests.

CALIFORNIA, MODIFYING THE DESIGNATED
POSITIONS CONTAINED IN THE CONFLICT OF
INTEREST CODE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
The Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follow:

A.
That the Appendix of the Conflict of Interest Code of the City of Tustin,
approved by the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency with the
adoption of Resolution No. RDA 01-10, should be modified and updated to
delete South Central Project Area Committee Member to the positions
required to file a Statement of Economic Interests.
B.
That the revised Appendix, attached hereto, be approved and the Conflict
of Interest Code be modified accordingly.
That pursuant to Section 4 of the Conflict of Interest Code of the City of
Tustin, the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency, as the Code-
reviewing body, hereby instructs all persons occupying a Designated
Position to file with the City Clerk a Statement of Economic Interests as
required assuming position, annually, and leaving position.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of October, 2004.

APPENDIX
This Conflict of Interest Code is adopted for the Community Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Tustin, California, pursuant to the Political Reform Act of 1974 (California
Government Code, Sections 81000 m. ~.). It consists of the model code set forth in
Regulation 18730 of the Fair Political Practices Commission, incorporated herein by
reference, together with the following Appendix:
DESIGNATED POSITIONS
. Redevelopment Program Manager
. Senior Project Manager
. Redevelopment Project Manager
Consultants: The Agency Executive Director shall determine on a case-by-case basis
whether a particular consultant is required to comply with the disclosure requirements
listed above. If the Agency Director determines that a particular consultant must comply
with the above disclosure requirements, the Agency Director shall notify the consultant in
writing. The written notification shall include a description of the consultant's duties and,
based upon those duties, a statement of the extent of the disclosure requirements. The
Agency Director's notification is a public record and shall be retained for public inspection.
DISCLOSURE CATEGORIES
The foregoing positions (Consultants excluded) will be assigned Disclosure Categories of
I, II, and III.
Category I: Investment and Real Property Disclosure.
Category II: Personal Income Disclosure.
Category 111: Business Income, Commissions and Position Disclosure.
