growth rate of 13+%.
•Willing to travel –75% of runners travelled
overnight, 74% planned to do so in next 12
months.
HALF MARATHONS
•Half marathons are favorite distance
•75% of the runners surveyed had run a half marathon
in last two years, 73% planned to do so in 2016
•14,195 finishers –2016 Surf City Half Marathon
