SUMMARY:
The bid opening for replacement of Frontier Park Bridge Repair Renovation was held on

RECOMMENDATION:
Award the contract for Frontier Park Bridge Repair Renovation to Custom Landscape
and Design in the amount of $22,853 subject to approval of contract requirements by
the City Attorney and final execution.
FISCAL IMPACT'
Replacement of Frontier Park Bridge Repair Renovation is being provided through an
allocation of $71,542 from the 2000/2001 Community Development Block Grant
program (21-999-9530-2047) for Frontier Park Phase II. Due to the cost of the
playground apparatus, which is included in the Phase II. project, the overall cost of the
improvements exceeds the original appropriation. The cost of the playground apparatus
is $58,000. This playground equipment and the Frontier Park bridge improvements
exceed the estimated total project budget by $12,500. Due to current delays in the
MCAS Tustin Legacy Project, a transfer of $12,500 from the Legacy Park CDBG
allocation is recommended.
