LARGE FAMILY DAY CARE (LFD) 2019-00001 APPLICANT: Maria Del Carmen Hurtado 1322 Veeh Drive Tustin, CA 92782 PROPERTY OWNER: Jitendra & Manisha Patel 932 Bordeaux Lane San Jacinto, CA 92582 LOCATION: 1322 Veeh Drive REQUEST: A request to operate a large family day care home caring for up to fourteen (14) children. ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: This project is statutorily exempt pursuant to Section 15274 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) No. 19-002 approving Large Family Day Care Permit(LFD) 2019-00001 to operate a large family day care home, caring for up to fourteen (14)children in an existing residence located at 1322 Veeh Drive. It was noted there were no members of the public in attendance for this item. The applicant, Maria Del Carmen Hurtado was present. The Zoning Administrator stated she had reviewed the staff report and did not need a presentation. Zoning Administrator Agenda May 14, 2019 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator opened the Public Comments Section of the Public Hearing at 10:33 a.m. The Zoning Administrator asked Ms. Hurtado if she had the opportunity to review ZAA 19-002, including the Conditions of Approval and emphasized the importance of complying with the Conditions of Approval (i.e. hours of operation, no pool). Ms. Hurtado reviewed the Conditions of Approval and she had no concerns with complying with the Conditions of Approval. The Zoning Administrator ensured with Samantha Beier, Associate Planner, that the project address was inspected appropriately and that notices were sent out to the surrounding properties. Ms. Beier did not receive any comments from the public. The Zoning Administrator closed the Public Comments Section at 10:36 a.m. The Zoning Administrator adopted ZAA 19-002. The Public Hearing item was closed at 10:36 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
