HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 89-186RESOLUTION NO. 89-186 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE RELOCATION OF SEWER PUMP STATION NO. 6168(R) AND CONSTRUCTION OF FORCE MAIN/GRAVITY SEWER FOR JAMBOREE ROAD BETWEEN EDINGER AVENUE AND BARRANCA PARKWAY THROUGH MCAS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS. 7 WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the city of Tustin, California to contract for relocation of Sewer 8 Pump Station No. 6168(R) and the construction of Force Main/ Gravity Sewer for Jamboree Road between Edinger Avenue and 9 Barranca Parkway through MCAS; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented plans and specifications for the construction of said work; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications presented by the City Engineer be and are hereby approved as the plans and specifications for- Relocation of Sewer Pump Station No. 6168(R) and Construction of Force Main/Gravity Sewer for Jamboree Road between Edinger Avenue and Barranca Parkway through MCAS BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Federal Highway Administration has determined that this project will not have any significant impact on the human environment based upon an environmental assessment which has been independently evaluated by the Federal Highway Administration and determined to adequately and accurately discuss the environmental issues and impacts of the project.
