HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 89-119RESOLUTION NO. 89-119 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, INFORMING THE ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE STATUS OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN MASTER PLAN OF ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has a Master Plan of Arterial Highways and; WHEREAS, the Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program requires annual requalification of participating cities in said program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin as follows- SECTION 1' The Arterial Highway Financing Program Advisory Committee be, and here is, informed that the City of Tustin's Master Plan of Arterial Highways is mutually satisfactory and in 'conformance with those o f its adjacent governmental jurisdictions and the County of Orange. ~5 SECTION ~' The City of Tustin has adopted. Zoning Ordinance No. 157, as amended, requiring setback to protect ultimate arterial ~ highway right-of-way, and in addition, the City of Tustin has adopted Subdivision Ordinance No. 651, as amended, which ~7 provides for limitation of access to the arterial highway system. SECTION ~' The City of Tustin acknowledges the identified ~9 inconsistencies between the County and City Master Plans of Arterial Highways as follows' 2O Wil!.iams Street between McFadden Avenue and Main Street which was graphically omitted as a secondary arterial highway; · W~lnut Avenue requires revision from a primary arterial highway to a modified primary arterial highway between McFadden Avenue and Red Hill Avenue, and from a secondary arterial highway to a modified primary arterial highway between Red Hill Avenue and the abandoned AT&SF right-of- way; 27 D~letion of two ~_0mmute~ arterials between the westerly Tustin city boundary and Jamboree Road; . 9 and plans to resolve these inconsistencies during the final General Plan Amendment process scheduled for the last quarter of 1989. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 7th day of August, 1989.
