HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 89-100 5 ' 6 RESOLUTION NO. 89-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, AUTHORIZING A SIGN CODE EXCEPTION FOR TRIMEDYNE FOR THE PURPOSES OF DISPLAYING A 40 SQUARE FOOT CORPORATE LOGO FLAG AT 1311 VALENCIA. ? I. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows' 10 A. The City Council does hereby fi nd and determine as follows' lo That a proper application for a sign code exception has been filed on behalf of Trimedyne for the purposes of displaying a 40 square foot corporate logo flag at 1311 Valencia. e That pursuant to Section 9470, of the Sign Code all criteria required prior to Council.granting a sign code exception is present with the subject request. That the display requested is consistent with the intent of the sign code ordinance in that the purpose of the sign code is for business identity and said display will be for business identification. II. The City Council hereby approves the sign code exception for Trimedyne to display a 40 square foot corporate logo flag at 1311 Valencia subject to the following conditions' le That the fl ag be displayed on a fl ag pole not to exceed 30' in height. 0 That the fl ag authorized shall only display the corporate name/logo of Tr,imedyne. o That the display shall be kept in a good state of repair and shall replaced should it become torn, frayed or otherwise vi sably damaged. e That the flag shall not be larger or flown higher than either the American or State flag displayed on the premises.
