Judy Weightman Dear Friends of Tustin High School, We are writing on behalf of the Class of2005 and the Grad Night Committee. Over the years, the tradition of a safe and fun evening of celebration hosted by volunteer parents has benefited the graduates as well as the community. This tradition started in 1986 as an answer to a growing number of alcohol and drug related accidents that occur as a result of unsupervised graduation celebrations. Last year we had a record attendance at the Tustin High Grad Night held off- campus for the second year. Once again, we are planning to take the 2005 grads to Dave & Buster's in Orange for an all-night celebration. Much of our success depends on the support of our local businesses in the community and that is the purpose of this letter. We are seeking your help byway of a donation to our committee. You have been a generous contributor to past Grad Nights and we hope we can count on you again. Your donation can be monetary or a product or gift certificate. The cash donations will directly benefit the grads by keeping the ticket price low to encourage more participation. Additional cash donations, products or gift certificates will be awarded as prizes throughout the evening. The graduates truly love this part ofthe evening. Your business name will be displayed on our donor wall at the entrance of our event. We will also be sending a letter of thanks, which can be displayed in your plàce of business to let the entire community know of your generous support of our students. This Grad Night benefits the community mainly because we keep our seniors safe and off the streets. We sincerely appreciate your support and interest in this worthwhile event. Please do not hesitate to call with questions or comments. On behalf of Tustin High School Grad Night Committee and the class of2005, please accept our sincere thanks for your generous support.
