A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
2 TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE FINAL
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION FOR THE RED
HILL AVENUE PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS AT
4 OCTA/SCRRA RAILWAY TRACKS AND SANTA ANA-
SANTA FE (F-10) FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL AREA

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: '

8 I I. That the City Council finds and determines that:
9 A. Based on the initial study, there is no substantial evidence that the project
will have a significant effect on the enviromnent.
10 B. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared for this project and
public notice has been given.
11 C. A public review period was provided and public comments were received
12 and responses prepared.
13 NOW, T..!flEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin as
follows:

151 1. That a Mitigated Negative Declaration has been completed in compliance with
CEQA and state guidelines. The City. Council has received and considered the
16 information contained in the proposed Negative Declaration and any public
comments which may have been received prior to approving the project and
17 found that the Negative Declaration adequately discussed the environmental
18 effects of the proposed project.
2. That after deciding to approve the environmental determination for the Red Hill
19 Avenue Pedestrian Improvements at OCTA/SCRRA Railway tracks and Santa
Ana-Santa Fe (F-10) Flood Control Channel Area, staff is directed to prepare and
20 file a Notice of Determination for the project. .,

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
22 .Tustin held on the 6th day of October 1997.
