These cats have been sterilized and are
part of a city-wide program to reduce the
outdoor outdoor cat population.
If you see a cat with d "tipped ear" it means the
cat was spayed/neutered, vaccinated against
rabies, microchipped and treated for fleas. The
cats are then returned to their communities. This
program is intended to reduce the number of
community cats in the city.
Don't take cats back to the shelter: -
Unsocialized cats are like pet cats, but are
afraid and not used to human contact. They
are killed in shelters because they can't be
adopted. Similar programs across the country
are proving that killing cats in shelters does not
reduce the outdoor cat population.
Why removing the cats doesn't work:
Studies prove that sterilized cats will prevent
new cats from moving into the area. And
because these cats are now sterilized, they
will never have kittens again so the population
will naturally decline.
Benefits of Community Cats and contact
information: Even if you do not like cats,
community cats serve an important role in you
neighborhood by controlling pest populations,
And behaviors like howling, fighting, and
marking territory will stop or decrease
dramatically after a cat is spayed or neuterec

Anyone interested in adopting this gorgeous kitten'%
This is Pepper. She was abandoned in my yard. She
appears to be 6 months old. 1 was told she is a Bengal
mix. It appears she was recently spayed. She is
extremely sweet and affectionate. She kept rubbing
against my legs upon meeting me. She let me pick
her up and pet her. She will be getting her shots this
week and flea treatment as well. She super friendly
and wants you to pet her and she follows you around
as well. She little vocal kind of kittens she is. Cat
friendly , imagine she fairly she can get use to dogs
or cats with proper introduction.
