HomeMy WebLinkAboutZA Action Agenda 7-18-05 ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING JULY 18, 2005 **** CALL TO ORDER: 10:40 a.m. Community Development Department Conference Room ROLL CALL: Dana Ogdon, Acting Zoning Administrator Staff present: Justina Willkom, Senior Planner Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARINGS: Conditional Use Permit 05-009 - Request to authorize the sale of beer and wine for on- site consumption (ABC License Type 41) in a bona fide public eating place and to construct an outdoor dining area in conjunction with a restaurant use. The project is located at 1641 Edinger Avenue, Suite 101 within the Industr,ial (M) zoning district. APPLICANT: MAKI-ZUSHI ATTN: SIN, YONG KUN' PROPERTY OWNER: BREEZY MEADOWS, LLC. ATTN: JEFF KLEIN RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 05-013 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-009. The Public Hearing opened at 10:41 a.m. Yong Kun Sin, applicant, introduced himself as the President of Mak-Zushi. The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the application and asked Mr. Sin if he had any questions. Mr. Sin asked when the permit will become permanent. Zoning Administrator Agenda October 4, 2004 Page 2 The Acting Zoning Administrator explained that the use will always be conditional; any changes to the proposed conditions of approval would need to be submitted to the Community Development Department. Mr. Sin had no other questions. The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 05-013 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-009. The Acting Zoning Administrator stated that there is a seven-day appeal period on this item; and, added that, since there were no members of the public present, there probably would not be an appeal; Mr. Sin may proceed with that understanding and at his own risk. The Public Hearing closed at 10:45 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:46 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
