HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 87-109RESOLUTION NO. 87-109 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE APPLICATION OF THE MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT .TO THE PROPOSED PROSPECT AVENUE ANNEXATION NO. 145. WHEREAS, a MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO PROVIDE FOR PROPERTY TAX EXCHANGE IN AREAS ANNEXED BY THE CITY has been executed by the Board of Supervisors of- Orange County and the City Council of the City of Tustin. Effective November 18, 1980, the agree~nt provides for division of property taxes pursuant to Section gg (d) of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of Cali fornt a; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Tusttn has proposed the "island" annexation of the inhabited and developed area known as Prospect Avenue Annexation No. 145. · NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tustin that the MASTER PROPERTY TAX TRANSFER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE AND THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO PROVIDE FOR PROPERTY TAX EXCHANGE IN AREAS ANNEXED BY THE CITY providing for. the allocation of property tax revenues, as approved by the Board of Supervisors and the City Council and effective November 18, 1980, shall be applicable to the territory within the proposed Prospect Avenue Annexation No. 145 to the City of Tustin for the annexation of 16.49 acres as substantially developed property. adjourned PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council held on the 7th day of October, 1987. i~LJ4ary E. wynn ~ ~ City Clerk Ri chard B Edgar Mayor Resolution No. 87-109 Page Two STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE .) § CITY- OF TUSTIN ) MARY E, WYNN, City Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby certify that the whole number of the mem- bers of the City Council of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing Resolution No. 87-109 was duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted at an adjourned regu'iar meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of October, 1987 by the follow vote' ' ' 10 NOES · COUNCILPERSONS.
