HomeMy WebLinkAboutZA Action Agenda 6-6-05 ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR REGULAR MEETING JUNE 6, 2005 **** CALL TO ORDER: 10:40 a.m. Community Development Department Conference Room ROLL CALL: Dana Ogdon, Acting Zoning Administrator Staff present: Chad Ortlieb, Associate Planner Flor Williams (for Eloise Harris), Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar REGULAR BUSINESS: None PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Conditional Use Permit 05-011 a request for authorization to temporarily operate a soil vapor and groundwater extraction unit at an existing gas station to remove hydrocarbons from the soil for approximately 18 months. The project is located at 13891 Red Hill Avenue within the Retail Commercial (C1) zoning district. APPLICANTI SHELL OIL PRODUCTS, INC. ATTN: JAYSADA PROPERTY OWNER: Pankey Ranches, Inc. RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 05-008 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-011. The Public Hearing opened at 10:40 a.m. Min Pu was in attendance representing the applicant Zoning Administrator Action Agenda June 6, 2005 Page 2 The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced himself and the staff, asked if the applicant had read and understood the conditions of approval; Applicant responded affirmatively. The Zoning Administrator asked if the soil vapor extraction equipment would be visible from the street, the applicant responded that is would be kept out of sight behind a (7) foot high chain-link fence. The Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 05-008 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-011. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:50 a.m. The date of the next regular meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
