MYRTLE AVENUE SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R1) ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: AN INITIAL STUDY AND EVAULATION OF POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS ARE BEING PEPARED PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 6 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) AND IT HAS NOT YET BEEN CONCLUDED WHETHER ANY SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS WOULD RESULT FROM THE PROJECT. REQUEST: TO OPERATE A LARGE FAMILY DAY CARE HOME, CARING FOR UP TO FOURTEEN (14) CHILDREN IN A RESIDENCE LOCATED IN THE SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R-1) ZONING DISTRICT. THE LARGE FAMILY DAY CARE WILL PROVIDE DAY CARE FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN ON WEEKDAYS FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M. RECOMMENDATION That the Planning Commission continue the public hearing until the September 12, 2005, Planning Commission meeting.
