This Resolution applies to the temporary and seasonal part-time positions because the regular part-time positions are represented by their respective organizations. Temporary and seasonal part-time employees are not represented by an association or labor organization and their pay ranges have been reviewed and adjusted annually to maintain competitive position recruitment and retention purposes. The salary adjustment provided in this Resolution is consistent with the direction previously provided by Council for the TMEA unit and unrepresented groups by providing a COLA adjustment of 5.5% (comparable to the increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the LA, Riverside, Orange County area for the year ending October, 2005. Unrepresented part-time employee classifications do not receive benefits. Unrepresented Part-time employees January 3, 2006 Page 2 of 2 We anticipate the costs associated with this Resolution can be absorbed by current departmental budgets.
