HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 86-11310 ~5 ]6 I? 2O 26 27 RESOLUTION NO. 86-113 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT RECORDS. WHEREAS, except for records affecting title to real property or liens thereon, court records, records required to he kept by statute, records less than two years old and the minutes, ordinances, or resolutions of the City Council and other City boards or commissions, Government Code Section 34090 authorizes the head of a city department to destroy any city record, document, instrument, book or paper, under this charge, without making a copy thereof, after the same ts no lon.qer required, wi th the approval of the City Council by resolution and the written consent of the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, the Council, upon reouest of the Director of Community and Administrative Service~, de$tre~ to approve immediate destruction of certain Community Services records, to-wit, class registrations, incoming and outgoing correspondence, payroll materials, receipts, and miscellaneous departmental files and records. WHEREAS, the City. Attorney of the City of Tustin has filed his wrttten consent w'~th the Clerk of the Council of the City of 'l'ustin; NOl.
