HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 86-096]0 ]] ]2 ]4' ]5 ]6 17 ]8 ]9 2O 2] 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 86-96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PLAY STRUCTURE AT LAMBERT SCHOOL AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tusttn, California to provide recreation facilities for people of all ages at various locations throughout the City, and; WHEREAS, the City has determined tt necessary to install a play structure at Lambert School for the newly licensed Child Development Program, and; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the specifications presented by the Recreation Superintendent and the City Engineer, be and are, hereby approved as the specifications for: PI_ay_Structure at Lambert School BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereb~ authorized and directed to advertise as r.equtred by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the provision of such services as specified in the aforesaid specifications which said advertisement shall be substantially in the following words and fi.qures to wi t: NOT!CF. Provisions of the State Contract Act a're not applicable, and prospective bidders wil 1 not be required to be prequal tiled. !9 All work to be done under the direct supert vi si on of the Recreation Superintendent and City Engineer, Ct ty of Tusttn. 20 All work to be paid for at the unit prices-5id from appropriated 21 monies. 22 23 2~ 25 26 27 28 -2- The City Council of the City of Tusttn has obtained from the Director of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the genera~ prevailing rate for lega~ holiday and overtime work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of work needed and a cooy of the same is on file in the office of the City Clerk. Not less than said prevailing rates shall be paid to workers employed on tht~ public, works contract as required by Labor Code Sections 1771 and 1774 of the State of California.
