To comment on one or more items, you may send your comments to PlanningCommission@tustinca.org or by accessing the City’s “SpeakUp” comment system as follows: 1. Proceed to the SpeakUp comment system: A. To submit an e-comment on an upcoming meeting agenda prior to commencement of the meeting, go to https://tustin.granicusideas.com/meetings?scope=upcoming and select the agenda item. B. To submit an e-comment on an upcoming meeting agenda during the meeting, go to https://tustin.granicusideas.com/meetings?scope=past and select the agenda item. C. Follow the links to type and submit your comment(s) on one or more items: a. The items may be on the agenda or not on the agenda. b. Your comments will be forwarded electronically and immediately to the members of the Planning Commission. c. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – AUGUST 25, 2020 RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission approve the Minutes of the August 25, 2020 Planning Commission meeting, as provided. PUBLIC HEARING: 2. APPEAL OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR’S APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY USE PERMIT (TUP) 2020-0077 FOR SWINGING DOOR TEMPORARY OUTDOOR DINING AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY. APPELLANT: RICHARD J. RENGEL 333 EL CAMINO REAL TUSTIN, CA 92780 LOCATION: 355 EL CAMINO REAL TUSTIN, CA 92780 ENVIRONMENTAL: This project is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301(e) of the California Code of Regulations (Guidelines for California Environmental Quality Act). REQUEST: Reversal of the approval of Temporary Use Permit (TUP) 2020-0077 for extended outdoor dining related to the COVID-19 pandemic in the rear parking lot.
