Tustin Planning Commission:
As a Tustin resident, I am invested in how the city plans for its housing needs. I am committed to
being a voice in this community for those who are unhoused or suffering from housing instability
due to a lack of affordable housing. I expect the City to responsibly identify sites that are viable,
and plan for housing for all levels of income.
have family members who have a very difficult time earning enough to pay rent each month.
Neither renting an apartment nor buying a home are affordable in Tustin, and elsewhere as well.
One of my children recently moved out of California to go to another state because she couldn't
afford to buy a home here.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration during this important process and support you in
your efforts to bring housing equity for all. I would like to be notified about any and all future
planning meetings so that I may remain informed and involved in this important conversation.
Sincerely,
Carol Houston
