City Staff are in receipt of your e-mail and it will be added to the public record and shared with the
Planning Commission. Would you like to be added to the City's Interested Party List for the Housing
Element Update? I have also included a link below for tonight's Planning Commission meeting
where an overview of the Housing Element update process will be provided to the Planning
Commission by Staff.

Dear members of the Tustin Planning Commission,
As a Tustin resident and member of the clergy, I am invested in how the city plans for its
housing needs. I have long been a voice for the unhoused in our community and hope that
you will consider low-income and permanent supportive housing for our neighbors. Our city's
diversity needs housing for all levels of income."
Currently, I am in contact with many Tustin folks who live on the streets. That population has
grown since the COVID shutdown. I have recently tried to secure housing for an 80 year old
couple, a family living in their car and several men who are employed and yet unhoused.
There simply is not enough housing and years go by with very little hope. I hope this need
will become a priority.
I am always happy to meet with you at any time and even introduce you
to some of the people who need housing. I think you will be surprised by
who you meet. I appreciate your consideration.
