From: Laura Siriani <IauraPstpauls.or > Sent: Monday, November 9, 2020 5:32 PM To: Demkowicz, Erica <EDemkowiczPtustinca.org> Subject: Housing Element Dear members of the Tustin Planning Commission, As a Tustin resident and member of the clergy, I am invested in how the city plans for its housing needs. I have long been a voice for the unhoused in our community and hope that you will consider low-income and permanent supportive housing for our neighbors. Our city's diversity needs housing for all levels of income." Currently, I am in contact with many Tustin folks who live on the streets. That population has grown since the COVID shutdown. I have recently tried to secure housing for an 80 year old couple, a family living in their car and several men who are employed and yet unhoused. There simply is not enough housing and years go by with very little hope. I hope this need will become a priority. I am always happy to meet with you at any time and even introduce you to some of the people who need housing. I think you will be surprised by who you meet. I appreciate your consideration.
