HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 86-06710 11 14 17 18 19 2O R£SOLUTION NO. 86-67 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN PETITIONING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR A TRANSFER OF TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN KNOWN AS ORANGE COUNTY MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION NO. 91. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows' I. The City Council of the City of Tustin finds and determines' A. That Mutual Liquid Gas and Equipment Company, A California Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Company", is the owner of record of that certain real property fronting on the north side of £dinger Avenue immediately east of the Newport Freeway and identified as Assessor's Parcel Number 430-252-01, which real property lies within the corporate limits of the City of Santa Aha. B. That said real property consists of approximately 0.40 acre and is part of 48,243 square feet used by Company in the operation of its business at that location', the remainder of which lies within the City of Tustin and is identified as Assessor's Parcel Number 430-252-02-. C. That subject property which lies within the City of Santa Ana is separated from other portions of the City of Santa Ana by the Newport Freeway, and lies within the Sphere of Influence of the City of Tustin, as determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of Orange. D. That said detachment from the City of Santa Aha and annexation to the City of Tustin meets the approval of the property owner, with a letter of consent attached hereto as Exhibit "C". E. That said annexation proposal and boundary line adjustment is in conformance with the City of Tusti n General Plan. F. The City Council of the Ctty of Tustln hereby petitions the Local Agency Formation Con~ntsston, to approve the annexation to the City of Tustin of the property as described and depicted in Exhibits "A" and "B", with a waiver of hearing and notice. Mr. Mel Moore worked with Mary Ann about eight years ago regarding this annexation. The papers were filed at this time at the request of the City of Tustin.
