APPROVAL OF MINUTES- AUGUST 6, 2001 REGULAR MEETING
Recommendation: Approve the Redevelopment Agency Minutes of August 6, 2001.

WORKING CAPITAL LOAN AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND THE CITY
OF TUSTIN
The. approval of this loan and administrative services agreement between the Tustin
Community Redevelopment Agency and the City of Tustin will comply with Section 33675
of the California Health and Safety Code regarding the allocation and payment of tax
increment to Redevelopment Agencies, and provide the resources necessary to carry out
the adopted programs in the Agency's three project areas.
Recommendation by the Finance Director:

Increase the outstanding loan balance to the South Central Project Area to
$2,400,000 until August 31, 2002;
.
Increase the outstanding loan balance to the MCAS Tustin Project Area to $790,000
until August 31,2002; and
,
Authorize the Chairperson of the Agency and the Mayor to execute the agreement
for 2001-2002, off~ring and accepting a loan and various services from the City to
the Agency totaling approximately $4,442,000 for fiscal year 2001-2002.

AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR KENYON
DRIVE REVITALIZATION
Agency approval is requested for the issuance of a Request for Proposals for the
revitalization of properties in the Kenyon Drive Neighborhood located in the South
Central Redevelopment Project area.
Recommendation by the Redevelopment Agency staff:
Authorize Agency staff to issue a Request for Proposals from interested Owner
Participants and developers for the revitalization of the Kenyon Drive Neighborhood.

TUSTIN MAIN LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT
The Tustin City Council Library Committee is recommending an approach to proceeding
with the next phase of the Tustin Library Expansion Proiect.
Recommendation by the Redevelopment staff:
,
Authorize staff to proceed with preliminary architectural and property appraisal
services related to a proposed Tustin Main Library Expansion Project; and
.
Appropriate $130,000 from unappropriated fund balance in the Town Center
Project Area.

ADJOURNMENT - The next regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for
Tuesday, September 4, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 300 Centennial Way.
