HUSTON, CITY MANAGER PUBLIC WORK DEPARTMENT / FIELD SERVICES SURPLUS EQUIPMENT SALES REPORT SUMMARY Notice of the sale of surplus equipment at public auction in accordance with Section 1626 of the Tustin Municipal Code. RECOMMENDATION Receive and file. FISCAL IMPACT The total proceeds in the amount of $9,605.00 received from the subject sale will be credited to the General Fund. BACKGROUND On March 05, 2001, the Tustin City Council declared certain equipment surplus and not required for public use and authorized its sale at public auction in accordance with Section 1626 of the Tustin Municipal Code. DISCUSSION ' The equipment listed on the.attached report was sold at public auction on August 4, 2001 The following is a summary of the sales proceeds and costs: Gross Proceeds Auction Commission Costs Net Proceeds $9,605.00 <$ 337.75> $9,267.25 Tim D.
