THE PLANNING COMMISSION WILL PROVIDE DIRECTION TO STAFF AS FOLLOWS: . CONTINUE TO APPLY THE OFFICE USE PROVISIONS AS THEY HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED BY STAFF. . DIRECT STAFF TO CONDUCT ADDITIONAL RESEARCH AND REPORT BACK TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO RECEIVE ADDITIONAL DIRECTION. . INITIATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF POLICY GUIDELINES AND/OR ZONING CODE AMENDMENTS AS DIRECTED. At this time members of the public may address the Commission regarding any items not on the agenda and within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission (NO action can be taken on off-agenda items unless authorized by law). If you wish to address the Commission on any matter, please fill out one of the cards located on the speaker's table so that your remarks on the tape recording of the meeting can be attributed to you. There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time of the voting on the motion unless members of the Commission, staff, or public request specific items to be discussed and/or removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - MAY 22,2006, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 2. CODE AMENDMENT 06-002 TO REPEAL TUSTIN CITY CODE SECTIONS 9242B(K) AND 9242C(C)(5) AND TO AMEND SUBSECTION B OF SECTION VI OF THE IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS AND TO AMEND SUBSECTION 1.E. OF SECTION I OF THE IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX (REDHILL) PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT REGULATIONS TO REMOVE "SELF-STORAGE MINI WAREHOUSE" AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE INDUSTRIAL (M) ZONING DISTRICT AND IN THE IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX PLANNED COMMUNITIES. RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission adopt Resolution No. 4023 recommending that the City Council adopt Code Amendment No. 06-002 to repeal Tustin City Code Sections 9242b(k) and 9242c(c)(5) and to amend Subsection B of Section VI of the Irvine Industrial Complex Planned Community District Regulations and to amend Subsection 1.E. of Section I of the Irvine Industrial Complex (Redhill) Planned Community District Regulations to remove "self-storage mini warehouse" as a permitted use in the Industrial (M) Zoning District and in the Irvine Industrial Complex Planned Communities.
