Subject: Resolution of support for O.C. Veteran Cemetery located at Gypsum Canyon
Honorable Mayor, &Councilmembers:
My name is Ronald Bengochea. I was born in Anaheim CA. and with the exception of serving in the U.S.
Army 1967-69 which included a tour of duty in Vietnam, I still reside in Anaheim.
I will not be able to attend your Council meeting tomorrow night, if I could I would address this matter
under Public Comments, so with that being said I will use this email as such.
I am one small voice, but I speak for thousands of grateful Veterans both present, and future Veterans
and their Loved ones &families.
The action all of you are taking tomorrow night by making a "Resolution by the City of Tustin" in support
of a Orange County Veterans Cemetery to being built at the Gypsum Canyon site is truly encouraging to
all of us stated above. For what ever reasons this has been a Politic football in the City of Irvine far to
long.
Your actions, speak loud and clear, you not only "talk the talk" but willing to "walk the walk". So I truly
THANK YOU on behalf of all Veterans and myself and believe this will be passed by"ALL AYE"
Respectfully,
Ron Bengochea
