Meeting: Regular Meeting of the City Council/Public Hearing #1 Regarding Proposed Transition to District Elections Item: PUBLIC INPUT—At this time, any member of the public may address the Council on matters which are not on this evening's agenda, provided the matter is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council. eComment: Hello, I am Roger Minkle, the president of the HOA for Flamingo Place on Walnut Street near the high school. On August 21 st the Tustin Police Department, the Fire Department, and fire bomb squad had probable cause to enter the residences and trailers. Officer Gonzalez explained that there was evidence of drugs, prostitution, gang activity, explosives, and firearms. I have sent you a very detailed email that explains my observations and those of other members of the community. Hundreds of Tustin High students go past our properties and visit the 7/11 on the corner of Newport and Orange. Thank you for not allowing the 7/11 a permit to sell alcohol one block from Tustin High. We have also notified Brad Steen in Code Enforcement so that you may support him in doing his job in this case. This has been an unsightly property for some time, however the Tustin Police have now identified it as a place that frightens both parents and grandparents. We do not know the outcome of the arrests that day. Now another very old RV is parked on the street in front of 1083 and 1073 Walnut Street. It has a mattress underneath it and three have dumped next to our CR&R trash containers Please read the detailed emails that I sent you. You may not get to this issue in tonight's meeting, but I am hopeful that the Tustin City Council do all it can legally do to protect the people of our street - as well as all of the children who go up and down our street from the high school. Thank you, Dr. Roger E. Minkle View and Analyze eComments This email was sent from https://aranicusideas.com Unsubscribe from future mailings
