Hi City Council members,
In regard to city council districts and potential new boundaries, I'm asking City
Council to 1) adopt Map 115 and 2) make District 2 one of the districts up for
election in 2022.
The Latino population in Tustin is significant, and they count. Map 115 would create
a majority Iatino district while maximizing the integration of this population
throughout all districts. It also keeps Old Town, Tustin Ranch, tustin Legacy, and
northern Tustin intact. We can have both a Latino-majority district along with other
communities of interest.
As a resident of District 2, I would like to see this neighborhood represented on City
Council.
