CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Conditional Use Permit 01-013 a request for authorization to obtain a license for the on-site sale of beer and wine (ABC license Type "41") in conjunction with an existing restaurant. The project is located at 14182 Newport Avenue, Unit B, within the Retail Commercial (C-1) zoning district. Alcoholic beverage sales establishments are permitted in association with a restaurant use subject to the approval of a conditional use permit. The applicant does not propose outdoor seating. APPLICANTS: JOHANNES H. WILLEMSE, JR. JORGE GONZALES PROPERTY OWNER: HARRIET WILLIS RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 01-009 approving Conditional Use Permit 01-013. Presentation: Matt West, Assistant Planner The Public Hearing opened at 10:36 a.m. No staff presentation was necessary. Zoning Administrator Agenda April 2, 2001 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator asked the applicant if the conditions were understood and agreed to. The applicant answered affirmatively. The Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 01-009 approving Conditional Use Permit 01-013. The Zoning Administrator stated there is a seven-day appeal periOd regarding this approval. The Public Hearing closed at 10: 37 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:38 a.m. The date of the next regular meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
