HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 85-06510 11 14 17 20 RESOLUTION NO. 85-65 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 85-1, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES ON YORBA STREET BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND IRVINE BOULEVARD AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows' I · The City Council finds and determines as follows- Ae Section 65358 of the Government Code of the State of California provides that when it is deemed to be in the 'public interest, the legislative body may amend a part of the General Plan. That in accordance with Secti'on 65358 of the Government Code of the State of California, a public hearing before the Planning Commission was duly called, noticed and held on the application initiated by the city of Tustin to reclassify the General Plan Land Use designation for the properties indicated on the attached Exhibit A. Specifically, the following changes are to be made: Lot 1' From Public and Institutional to Professional Office Lots 2, 3, 12 & 13- From Multiple Family Residential to Professional Office Lots 4 throug.h.. 11' From Single Family Residential to prOfeSSiOnal office Co That the Planning Commission did recommend to the City Council by the adoption of Resolution No. 2238 that General Plan Amendment 85-1 be approved. D~ That a public hearing before the City Council concerning General Plan Amendment 85-1 was duly called noticed and held. That a Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and is hereby approved. F~ That a change in classification would be in the public interest and not detrimental to the welfare of the public or the surrounding property owners. 1 10 11 12 12 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 Resolution 85-65 Page two II. The City Council hereby approves General Plan Amendment 85-1 amending the Land Use Element for certain properties on Yorba Street between First Street and Irvine Blvd., as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and described in Section I. B. of this Resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City Council held on the _lst day of July , 1985. FRANK H.
