SUBJECT: LEGISLATIVE UPDATE — OCTOBER 2022
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning Commission receive and file the report.
BACKGROUND:
Since staff provided the last legislative update to the Planning Commission in June 2022, the
California State Legislature has continued to remain busy with a number of land use related
bills recently signed by the Governor.
Staff will be providing a brief update to the Planning Commission on newly enacted
legislation, including AB 2097, AB 2011 , and SB 6.
